Ryan makes his return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Newman’s return to the NASCAR’s truck series is even more noteworthy as this event will be taking place on the dirt at Tony Stewart’s famed Eldora Speedway, in Ohio. This event marks the only time any of NASCAR’s premiere touring series participates on this highly unpredictable surface in 2018.
Prior to joining the NASCAR ranks, Ryan graduated from Purdue University with a degree in vehicular engineering. Being NASCAR’s first engineering degree holder has afforded Ryan with a unique perspective well beyond the steering wheel and is key to the success he has had on the track.
